JoomlaPack Developers proudly announces the immediate availability of the latest 1.2.b1 release of our backup component for Joomla!-powered sites, JoomlaPack. This release is the product of the team's hard work in combination with the invaluable feedback from our user base.

This version is considered feature complete, regarding the planned feature list for JoomlaPack 1.2, and stable enough for daily use. However, this is still beta software; some bugs may be still present. We, therefore, suggest not to use it with production servers, unless the previous stable release didn't work for you, or if you want to use the new features.

1.2.b2 released

JoomlaPack Developers proudly announces the immediate availability of the latest 1.2.b2 release of our backup component for Joomla!-powered sites, JoomlaPack. This release is the product of the team's hard work in combination with the invaluable feedback from our user base.

This is Release Candidate quality software. We consider it stable enough for daily use. However, not all bugs might have been ironed out. If you feel uncomfortable using beta software and you don't need the bug fixes or new functionality introduced with this version, do not upgrade yet.

There is a known problem with GoDaddy hosted sites. On those sites the ZIP creation does not work. Please use JPA instead.

1.2.a3 (Alpha) Released

Committed to quality and frequent releases, JoomlaPack Developers announces the immediate availability of JoomlaPack 1.2 Alpha 3. This is a pre-release version, supported on the same terms as regular SVN code.

The single most notable change of this release is the ability to backup and restore multiple databases, even if they are foreign to your Joomla! site, or even if they run on a different host! Furthermore, the availability of JoomlaPack Kickstart will make uploading and restoring that backup a tad bid easier on the majority of hosts.

This is going to be the last Alpha release for the 1.2 branch; in the next few weeks the first beta will be released, feature complete and relatively stable for controlled daily use.

This is alpha (pre-release) quality software, not intended for production sites. We strongly advise against installing it on live sites where stability is a key aspect of their operation. You are, however, encouraged to install and try it on local development or other test servers.

1.2a2 (Alpha) Released

Following our comittment to disseminate the result of our work, JoomlaPack Developers is happy to announce the immediate availability of 1.2 Alpha 2 (1.2a2) version of the JoomlaPack backup component. It is a pre-release version, supported on the same terms as regular SVN code. The single most notable change of this release is the ability to run either as a native Joomla! 1.0.x component (download the -j10 package), or a native Joomla! 1.5.x component (download the -j15 package). Moreover, JoomlaPack has undergone massive design changes under the hood to maximize efficiency, as well as usability improvements in the frontend.

1.1.1 Stable Released

After a month of hard work and intense activity on the support forums, the stable release of the 1.1.1 JoomlaPack branch is released. This is a stability release, fixing outstanding bugs. All users are requested to upgrade to it.
